Tearful adieu to doyen of music

Kurnool: The mortal remains of the music maestro Padma Bhushan Dr Sripada Pinakapani were consigned to flames and people bid a tearful adieu to the music guru on Tuesday. He died on Monday after brief illness at a private hospital here. Several eminent personalities paid rich tributes to the late doctor and expressed condolences to the family members. Holding a stethoscope in one hand and veena on the other, the doctor had been teaching music several hundreds of disciples throughout his life. "Learn till you master it and teach until your death," was the slogan often quoted by the late musician.
