Ever felt like your best friend shouldn’t have ditched you over someone else or ever felt like your parents should make more efforts to understand you better? Yes, I’m talking about the 2:00a.m thoughts. And, can’t get enough sleep because you’re too worried or over thinking about a million things with anxiety! Yes, it is ANXIETY! And, it’s pretty much harmful for your brain as much as doing drugs.
There are various types of Anxiety. Types of anxieties such as: Panic disorder, Social anxiety disorder, Specific phobias and generalized anxiety disorder. These disorders are seen very often in every 7 out of 10 people. Ever wondered how life would be without anxiety? Well,peaceful. So, coming back to the types of anxiety.
During panic disorder, feeling of terror strikes suddenly and repeatedly with no warning. Other symptoms of a panic attack includes sweating and chest pains, palpitations (unusually strong or irregular heartbeats), and a feeling of choking, which may make the person feel like he or she is having a heart attack or "going crazy."
Moving forward to Social disorder also called social phobia, involves overwhelming worry and self-consciousness about everyday social situations. The worry often centres on a fear of being judged by others, or behaving in a way that might cause embarrassment or lead to deride. Sounds any familiar peeps? Well, 8 out of 10 teenagers go through this anxiety on daily basis. Well, Specific phobia is an intense fear of a specific object or situation, such as snakes, heights, or flying.
The level of fear is usually inappropriate to the situation and may cause the person to avoid common, everyday situations. And, finally generalized anxiety disorder involves excessive, unrealistic worry and tension, even if there is little or nothing to provoke the anxiety. Anxiety causes havoc in our lives. There are various solutions to get rid of Anxiety. And,the best is “Communication”.Talking and sorting out the situation is way too better than brooding about it and prolonging the situation.
Yes,it is difficult to confront your inner feelings as you’d probably have a aptitude of making a fool of yourself. But,think about the time when you pour out everything that’s disturbing you though it sounds pointless. Just do it! It’s better now than ever.
So,communication with anybody you know isn’t working out.You can consult a a therapist.And,that will help as well. Anxiety can hit anybody.It’s better to solve your problem before it’s too late. I hope you acknowledge your feelings to that someone. And,it might help you.Don't runaway from what is troubling you! Face it! Deal with it! That's when you'll win.
