Indrani Mukerjea, and her driver Shyam Rai, were sent to 14 days judicial custody by a magistrate's court here on Monday.
Khanna, Indrani's was taken to Kolkata by Mumbai Police for further investigation and brought back to Mumbai last night.
Indrani Mukerjea was arrested on August 24 for the murder of Sheena Bora, her daughter from an earlier relationship. The murder was committed in April 2012.
She has been accused of killing Sheena over a financial dispute, with the help of her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver.
