Venues finalized for the World Telugu Conference
As the city gears up for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit-2017 which is scheduled to commence in the next two days, preparations have already begun for the World Telugu Conference (WTC).
As the city gears up for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit-2017 which is scheduled to commence in the next two days, preparations have already begun for the World Telugu Conference (WTC).
The five-day conference will be held from December 15 to 19 and aims to bring emphasis on the Telangana literature and culture.
For the various programmes including literary discussions, seminars, debates, folk arts along with theatre and cinema, four venues have been finalized.
The inaugural and the concluding ceremony will take place in the main venue - LB Stadium where special stalls will be set up on Telugu literature. The next venue is Ravindra Bharathi where programmes of music, dance, theatre, and cinema will be set up.
NTR Auditorium in Potti Sriramulu Telugu University is another venue where literary discussions, seminars, and debates will take place while the Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium at Nampally will have women-oriented activities and children’s festivals. Also, Lalitha Kala Thoranam will be the hub for performing arts.
