KCR: GES 2017 success enhanced prestige of Hyderabad all over the world

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao heaped praises on Telangana police for handling the security issues during the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES).

Expressing happiness over the success of GES and launch of Hyderabad Metro Rail, KCR thanked thanked Chief Secretary SP Singh, Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy and other officials who worked in coordination.

Stating that the GES success enhanced the prestige of Hyderabad all over the world, he mentioned that Centre praising the role of Telangana police for providing excellent security to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US President’s Advisor Ivanka Trump, former UK Prime Minister’s wife Cherry Blair and other delegates from 150 countries.

The Chief Minister even said that the US Secret Service, Union Home Ministry, Niti Aayog and delegates from abroad also poured in their appreciations for handling a host of programmes efficiently while ensuring security for every dignitary apart from maintained high standards.

He lauded Director General of Police Mahender Reddy in organising and coordinating such a big event within a short span of time after becoming the DGP adding that even the Secret Service officials congratulated Mahender Reddy while leaving the city.
