PM Modi's official dinner with Ivanka Trump CCTV feed goes live on TV

Despite making elaborate security arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017, local TV channels ended up airing the live CCTV footage visuals from the Falaknuma Palace Hotel during the official dinner hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the GES delegates including Advisor to US President Ivanka Trump on November 28.

With National media channels airing the live feed of few Telugu channels where Prime Minister Modi, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and governor of two Telugu states, ESL Narasimhan are seen holding a discussion.

The event was not to have media coverage but when the TV channels aired the live feed from inside the hotel, the officials of the PMO office took notice and alerted the Special Protection Group (SPG). Immediately, the Telangana police were alerted and asked to stop the live broadcasting.

Following this, the TV channels stopped the live broadcast of the CCTV feed. According to the reports, the live broadcast was taking place from command and control centre at the city police commissioner's office. Also, it is learned that few senior police officers allowed reporters of a couple of TV channels to enter the command control centre during the official dinner.
