Personalized smart cards to be launched for Hyderabad Metro
L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited (LTMRHL) is all set to launch personalized smart cards following the response of the Metro classic smart cards from passengers.
L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited (LTMRHL) is all set to launch personalized smart cards following the response of the Metro classic smart cards from passengers.
The personalized smart cards will provide the passengers with the option of getting their pictures, names and other details embossed. Each passenger will have a unique smart card and they can use different pictures on the cards.
Till date, nearly 40,000 cards have been sold. In the coming days, services including banking, parking, etc will be synchronized with the smart cards.
With the personalized smart cards, the balance amount will be refunded if the card is lost or stolen, unlike the classic nebula smart card.
Also, the smart card will be blocked once the customer alerts about the lost card and the balance amount will be refunded.Meanwhile, the cost of the personalized smart card is yet to be fixed.
