Telangana man killed in US train accident

A man from Telangana got killed a train accident in San Jose, California, United States last week.

The deceased, Krishna Erravelli was a resident of Albany, Ohio who travelled to San Jose on official work.

The mishap took place when an Alum Rock-bound (VTA) train hit him near North First Street and Component Drive.

Several passengers on the train are said to have sustained minor injuries as the train stopped abruptly.

While Krishna was rushed to the hospital immediately, he succumbed to his injuries.

Regular service of the Light Train resumed after about 45 minutes.

Krishna is survived by his wife and two daughters. His parents in Karimnagar are making all efforts to bring his body to the native place to perform final rites.
