Telangana girl offered the highest salary package at IIT Bhubaneswar
A girl hailing from Telangana has been offered the highest annual salary package ever in the history of IIT Bhubaneswar.
A girl hailing from Telangana has been offered the highest annual salary package ever in the history of IIT Bhubaneswar.
The girl, R Likhita Sharma studying computer science and engineering at the institution was selected for Adobe in the ongoing campus selection process.
While students from the IITs at Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Roorkee and Guwahati have been offered annual pay packages of Rs 1 crore before, the Rs 39 lakh yearly salary is the highest amount ever offered to a student of the history of the institution since its first batch graduated in 2012.
Previously, the highest offer was Rs 38 lakh which was in 2016 and last year, it was Rs 34 lakh.
Speaking to TOI, Likhita Sharma was quoted saying, "Frankly speaking, this was beyond my expectations.”
