YSRCP Minority Leader Attacked
Faction politics came to the fore yet again in Anantapur district. YSRCP Minority wing leader Gayuz Basha alias Munna was attacked by JC Diwakar Reddy\'s henchmen at Tadipatri.
Anantapur: Faction politics came to the fore yet again in Anantapur district. YSRCP Minority wing leader Gayuz Basha alias Munna was attacked by JC Diwakar Reddy's henchmen at Tadipatri.
The incident occurred when Basha was returning from a hospital after visiting a person known to him. It is learnt that the YSRCP leader did not suffer any major injuries. Both the four-wheelers are said to be damaged in the attack.
The plot has been apparently hatched to eliminate Basha who has been playing key role in strengthening the party in the district.
Munna had been raising several irregularities pertaining to properties belonging to Wakf Board and funds meant for minority Muslims.
TDP leaders from Tadipatri division Jayachandra Reddy, Fayaz Basha, Jagadeshwar Reddy condemned the attack. The TDP leaders assured that the issues pertaining to attacks wil be brought to the notice of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
