The Telangana government has signed an agreement with the Tata Memorial Trust on Thursday to establish a robust and comprehensive network of cancer care facilities in the state.

Top Health officials representing the TS Government amidst the presence of Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao, Health Minister Dr C Laxma Reddy and Chairman of Tata Trust, Ratan Tata. signed a MoU with Tata Memorial Trust.
Currently, the treatment options are limited since the majority of the cancer cases in Telangana are diagnosed at a very late stage.
With this comprehensive cancer care management program, the cancer care can be rationalised across all the levels of health care including primary, secondary and tertiary health institutions in Telangana.
