Russian Ambassador, Nikolay Kudashev lauded the Telangana Police on Friday for their swift action on a complaint filed against a metal detector equipment supplier.
Russian Ambassador, Nikolay Kudashev lauded the Telangana Police on Friday for their swift action on a complaint filed against a metal detector equipment supplier.
According to the police, CEO of KRB-GEO, K Ranga Babu attempted to cheat the Russian Embassy of $ 42,500 after agreeing to deliver metal detectors.
Babu, who took the money from the Embassy to supply metal detector equipment, stopped responding to their enquiries. Hence, the Embassy officials approached the state police and lodged complaint seeking action.
With the police intervention, Babu remitted the entire amount to the Embassy on instalment basis through bank transfer.
Following the immediate action by the Telangana Police, the Russian Ambassador, Nikolay Kudashev wrote to the Director General of Police, M.Mahender Reddy expressing gratitude and also appreciating them for their dedication and assistance in solving the crime that affected the interests of Russian diplomatic mission.
