Vijayawada: An NGO is planning a unique protest to highlight the double standards of the ruling Telugu Desam Party on the issue of special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
While the people are fighting for special category status, the ruling party MLAs and ministers will play games and sports at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Vijayawada.
Decrying this, NGO Helping Hands will protest and offer roses to the leaders. According to Helping Hands state president Mareedu Sivaramakrishna, the action of the ruling party leaders were unpardonable and called upon the people to join the protests.
