Warangal Police Commissioner V Ravinder on Tuesday launched the ‘e-petty’ case app as part of Protective Police to control minor offences under the Warangal Police Commissionerate.

In a press conference held at the Commissionerate, he said the app was created by the police to register cases through the 'e-petty’ app in the scene where the offence was committed against minor offenders in Warangal Police Commissionerate.

According to the application, the case will be registered in the area where minor offenders have been charged and collect evidence of criminal offences and details of the criminals. He said the details of the accused will be available in all parts of the state as the application helps build history and evidence.

This means that the accused will not be able to escape. As a result, the police will continue to focus on the full scope of the accused, he said. 142 tablet PCs were distributed among the staff. The meeting was attended by Central Zone DPP Venkat Reddy, East Zone DCP Venkateshwarlu, Additional DCP Pooja and ACP Madanlal.
