It is learned that the decoration material at the hall caught fire.
However, no casualties were reported in the mishap.
The fire tenders from Hayathnagar, Malakpet and Gowliguda rushed to the spot and doused the flames within half an hour.
An electric short circuit is suspected to be the reason behind the mishap.
