The Hyderabad police have repeatedly banned the flying of remotely controlled drones and paragliders from time to time. Previously, a year ago police had banned drones for a month.

In a notification issued by Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said that Intelligence agencies’ inputs suggested the possibility of attacks by Terrorist/Anti-social elements by the use of remote-controlled drones, Para-gliders, remote controlled Micro-Light Aircraft.

Hence, the notification issued the statement that no flying activities of remotely controlled drones or para-gliders or Remotely Controlled Micro-Light Aircraft will be allowed in the Jurisdiction of Hyderabad city limits.

If anyone attempts to do so without any prior permission from the local police and aviation authorities, they will be booked.
