The boy, D Ishan has been diagnosed with blood cancer and is currently undergoing treatment at MNJ Cancer Hospital in Red Hills.

The Make a Wish foundation, interacting with the parents found that Ishan wished to be a police commissioner.

Following this, the NGO met with Rachakonda Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat, who granted the young boy's wish for one day.

Ishan ‘took charge’ as a Commissioner for one day and spoke to the reporters saying that he wants to install CCTV cameras across the city to monitor law and order,

Ishan even said that he would increase the number of SHE Teams in the city along with police patrolling when asked the measures he would take for women's safety in the city.
