KCR heads to Bengaluru to hold Third Front talks with Deve Gowda

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is all set to meet former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda in Bengaluru on Friday to take forward his plans to form a Federal Front with non-BJP and non-Congress political parties.

KCR’s visit is a short one as he will be returning to Hyderabad at 5.30 pm today.

During the meet, he plans to hold talks on the need for formation of a Federal Front by bringing together various political parties and is likely to take Deve Gowda’s suggestions in this regard.

The Chief Minister will be accompanied by his daughter and Nizamabad MP Kavitha, TRS leader in Rajya Sabha K Keshava Rao, special advisor to CM Rajiv Sharma, chief advisor Rajiv Sharma and a couple of officers from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

At the time of Karnataka elections, KCR's tour has turned significant as per the observations, Devegowda's party, Janata Dal-Secular, is ahead in Karnataka polls.

KCR has already met Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on the possibility of the Federal Front with the latter extending support and assuring of working together with him.

Former Jharkhand chief minister Hemanth Soren, and actor Prakash Raj have also backed the chief minister on his initiative.

According to the sources, KCR is likely to meet Odisha CM and Biju Janata Dal chief Naveen Patnaik and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in the coming days.
