Man strangles daughter to death, attempts to kill wife and another daughter
A 35-year-old man allegedly strangled his one and half-year-old daughter to death in Jagtial district.
A 35-year-old man allegedly strangled his one and half-year-old daughter to death in Jagtial district.
The man, identified as Nikode Ashok even attempted to kill his wife and another daughter, aged four years, but his wife managed to escape.
The accused took his wife and two daughters for offering prayers at a temple on Saturday.
Later, he took them to a nearby forest in the night and allegedly strangled his younger daughter to death. According to the police, the wife escaped in the darkness and reached her parents' house.
She lodged a complaint with the police and a case was registered. The police found the body of the one and half-year-old child in the forest while a search has been launched to trace Ashok, who is absconding, and his four-year-old daughter.
