YSRCP senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP V. Vijaysai Reddy likened AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu to Puranic character Bakasura, who used to devour not just food, but the man who brought it and the cart in which it was brought.
Talking to media person, he said Chandrababu was trying to sabotage the protests against the Centre for not according special category status to Andhra Pradesh. He said that during his earlier stint as the chief minister, Chandrababu tried to remove history from the curriculam.
Everyone wants historical memories to remain alive, but Chandrababu wanted to obliterate them, he added. Vijaysai Reddy said the YSRCP would opposed every force that opposes secial status to Andhra Pradesh. He thanked the Left parties, the Jana Sema the AAP for their support to the AP bandh
