A case has been registered under section 295-A of the Indian Penal Code against Ahmed Shabbir and Swathi Vadlamudi in this regard after an advocate Kashimshetty Karuna Sagar filed a complaint.
Based on the complaint, the cartoon of Lord Ram and Sita is hurting Hindu religious sentiments.
According to the police, the advocate filed two complaints each on Ahmed Shabbir and Swathi Vadlamudi - one on April 13 and another on April 15 respectively.
The police stated that further investigation is going on and appropriate action will be initiated.
