Hyderabad man cheats 21-year-old girl under the pretext of marriage

A man was arrested in Shamshabad area on Thursday over the charges of cheating a girl under the pretext of marriage.

As per the details, the 21-year-old girl was found missing and the girl’s parents registered a case with Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Police Station in Shamsabad.

In the complaint, they alleged that their neighbour is responsible for making the girl elope with him.

The girl, who reportedly took some money while eloping was kept in a rented house in Palmakol village of Shamshabad. However, once the money got exhausted, the man began harassing the girl, who in turn was pressing for marriage.

Unable to deal anymore, the girl ran away from Palmakol and reached her parents’ house in Saat Amrai.

After narrating the entire incident to her parents, she then recorded her statement at the police station. Following this, the man was arrested and the girl was sent to Osmania General Hospital for medical examination.
