Speaking at the occasion, Chandrababu reminded the people of AP regarding the progress in the state in the past four years of TDP’s governance while following Panchayat Raj system. Stating that he always believed in maintaining amicable relations between centre and AP, Chandrababu said that the development in the villages has been stalled due to non-cooperation of central govt in releasing funds.

He even recalled as to how Sr NT Rama Rao had fought against centre's oppression over states and demanded state's autonomy.
