The TSavaari mobile application of Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) has overcome its software glitches and is working accordingly for the passengers in Hyderabad.

Designed as an electronic purse to cater to the travel needs of regular commuters, the TSavaari has become a popular app with over 50,000 downloads in five months.

With the inauguration of the Hyderabad Metro Rail on November 28 last year, the passengers began using the mobile app.

However, the app garnered a lot of criticism with the users complaining of errors and software glitches including the slow registration process, entering the metro-card number to check balance, amount not displayed after recharging the card and non-availability of technical persons to address the issues.

Now, the application is receiving compliments from the Android users for easing the registration process, recharging and checking the card balance.

With the OLA integration, the app allows passengers to book a ride to and from any metro train station.

Officials maintained that the app assists passengers to commute to any location in the city using any mode of transport with the help of the ‘Journey Planner’ which provides travel options including Metro Rail, Ola Cabs and Auto, TSRTC bus, MMTS and local autos.
