KCR: TRS Govt has made transparency a byword in governance
TRS Supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao speaking at the party’s 17th plenary session on Friday said that the Telangana government has made transparency a byword in governance which has even garnered the acknowledgment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Citing the decision of the state government in handing over few power station contracts to the State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, he said that several people including top politicians in the country expressed surprise on the move.
KCR said that many, among who, even Chief Ministers stated that TRS party could have made a lot of money by handing over the contracts to private companies.
However, he added that the TRS government has been working with honesty, responsibility, and transparency with even PM Modi appreciating the decision to go with BHEL.
