The incident took place back in December last year on the Chennai Central-Hyderabad Charminar Express and was filmed by a passenger. The video which has gone viral showed a man in a blue shirt inside the toilet of a train in Telangana filling tea cans with water. Later, he is seen handing over the can to a vendor standing outside the door.

Social media users expressed disgust and questioned railway authorities who then imposed the fine.
