BJP Telangana President K Laxman on Monday said that party National President Amit Shah will visit Telangana in June. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, he said that Telangana BJP leaders will meet Amit Shah on the 14th of this month and finalize his tour dates. Telangana BJP leaders will meet in Hyderabad on May 17 and 18 to finalize Amit Shah's visit and policy. BJP National General Secretary Satish will be present at this meeting.

Laxman said, "Though the Modi government is helping a lot in Telugu state development, it is not right that the two Chief Ministers - K Chandrasekhar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu are making unnecessary accusations against the Centre. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had laid the foundation for road development in Hyderabad two days ago Rs 1500 crore funding.

Crediting the Union Minister for transforming 3,000 km roads to national highways in Telangana within four years, the BJP leader said Rs 50,000 crore has been initiated for water supply and the project will put an end to the drinking water and irrigation water issues for AP, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka states.

"The Centre will spend Rs 5,000 crore for renovation of the Ramagundam Fertilizer Factory. The Centre also sanctioned all types of permits for the construction of the Kaleshwaram project,” Laxman said, adding that however, the Telangana government is still critical of the Centre.

He further said, “In the four years, the BJP government has spent a lot of money on Telangana and is ready to discuss what has been improved. Lakshman alleged that both the chief ministers of the Telugu state are plotting to defeat the BJP.”
