Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has alsked the officials in Andhra Pradesh to link over 24000 solar pumpsets to the power grid so that the additional power so produced could be used optimally.
Addressing the collectors’ conference in Amaravati on Wednesday, he said that by improving the production of recyclable power, the AP Government could bring down the per unit cost of power from Rs 5.50 to Rs 3.75.
He also advised the officials to deploy electrical vehicles for garbage collection in various municipalities of the state.
