Harish Rao says Congress has more CM candidates than MLA candidates

In a stinging attack on the Congress, Telangana irrigation minister Harish Rao said the Congress Party in Telangana has more CM candidates than MLAs. He said the Congress dreams of coming to power in Telangana will never be fulfilled.

Addressing a public meeting in Medak on Thursday, Harish Rao charged the Congress with trying to obstruct irrigation projects like the Kaleswaram project. He said the Congress was filing cases in the court to stall the project works.

He said the TRS Government was trying optimize the water use in Manjeera River and said that the TRS government was trying to get a railway track laid to cover Medak district. “Chief Minister KCR has complete understanding of the situation in Medak district and how to solve the problems,” Harish Rao said.

Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy, MP BB Patil, MLCs, MLAs and other other officials were present.
