They shouted ‘Amit Shah Go Back’ protesting against the BJP’s attitude towards according special category status to the state of Andhra Pradesh. This led to mild tension and the police dispersed the protesters soon.

Amit Shah was in Tirupati to have a darshan of the Lord after winding up the electioneering in Karnataka, which will go to polls on May 12.
