In a fresh case, a business man has got smudged Rs 2,000 currency note from SBI ATM. Shocked over, the victim Srikar Aditya lodged a complaint with Vanasthalipuram police station.

He said he withdrew Rs 10,000 from the ATM of Vanasthalipuram branch. He was shell shocked when he received two torn notes of the five Rs 2,000 notes. They were with stickers tagged to it. Two other notes were also smeared with ink.

Srikar also tweeted that " none of the notes is useful, I tried to deposit the cash in the deposit machine but in vain,” said Aditya. He also tried to exchange the currency notes at shops, but none of the vendors was ready to accept them.

Police said no case has been registered yet and the complaint will be forwarded to the SBI to resolve the issue.
