TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy hit out at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday for not fulfilling the promise of making a Dalit the CM and distributing three acres of land to all eligible poor Dalit families.

Addressing a huge public meeting at Chennur, he said that SCs and STs have been deprived of reservation benefit in proportion to their population.
Uttam Kumar further said that the TRS government was patronizing the sand mafia as sand worth hundreds of crores was being smuggled with lack of action from the authorities under pressure from KCR family.
He said that places such as Chennur were unable to benefit from the formation of Telangana despite reserves of coal adding that resources like sand, coal, and water should be used for benefit of locals.
The Congress leader also said that KCR is pro-BJP and hence didn’t pursue Reservation Bills with the Centre.
