Rythu Bandhu scheme is historic: Harish Rao
Irrigation Minister Harish Rao on Tuesday attended the check distribution programme to the farmers under the Rythu Bandhu Scheme as the Chief Guest at Gajwel Mandal, Burugupalle in Siddipet district.

The villagers along with TRS party leaders and activists accorded him a grand welcome on the occasion. A rally was held on the bike for 3 km from Bayram Stage to Burugupalle where the Minister was showered with rose petals upon his arrival.
Harish Rao distributed farmers' checks to the farmers on this occasion. Speaking at the gathering, he said that the distribution of checks has brought in a festive atmosphere in the villages.
He mentioned that the state government is providing 24 hours electricity to the farmers, Support price for farmers' crops and bringing Godavari water to Burugupalle.
Roads Corporation chairman Narsareddy, chairman of housing corporation chairman Bhanareddy, chairman of the grant company Prabhakar Reddy, DCCB Chairman Devender Reddy, GADA Special Officer Hanumantha Rao participated in this event.
Harish Rao also participated in the Rythu Bandhu programme at Siddipet Urban Mandal, Rangadampally. He said, “The Rythu Bandhu scheme is historic. No government has brought such a great scheme for farmers.”
The Minister further asked the farmers to use crop investment for agricultural purposes.
