Three people were arrested on Tuesday for duping job seekers across the country using fake websites with employment notifications amounting to a fraud of Rs 3 crore.

Cyber Crime sleuths of Hyderabad police commissionerate arrested Vikas Kumar, a supervisor at I Tech Solutions in New Delhi, Subash, and Vikas Khandelwal, both computer operators in the same company.
The arrested, along with with a fourth associate Sachin Kumar, proprietor of the company, who is now absconding, created a fake website - http://telangana.gred.co.in - a government organization Telangana Agro Development Corporation.
They invited job applications under various categories making the job seekers pay Rs 98 to get an application for various posts. Next, they were asked to deposit Rs 499 in the company’s bank account to get the application accepted.
According to the police, about 20,000 job aspirants from Telangana became victims of this fraud.
A complaint was lodged about the fake website after multiple queries emerged from the victims.
During the investigation, the police found out that the culprits had committed similar job frauds in the name of different government bodies in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu since November 2017. Also, they were about to begin a multi-level marketing fraud in the name of VISION 700.
