Selfie craze claims another life in AP

Selfie craze has claimed yet another young life in Jaggayyapeta of Krishna district.

The victim, Pagadala Ramasai had recently passed his Class X examinations with a high score. The fifteen-year-old in a bid to take a selfie atop a train went to the goods railway station on Wednesday afternoon.

He climbed on top of a cargo train to capture the selfie, however, he came in contact with the overhead high-tension wires. Following this, he sustained 70 percent burns and collapsed on the roof of the train.

Ramasai was rushed to Jaggayyapeta hospital but the doctors shifted him to Guntur government hospital where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment.
