KTR seeks action against encroachers at Yellamakunta lake

Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) minister KT Rama Rao responded to a citizen’s complaint about encroachments at the Yellamakunta lake and directed Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials to immediately file criminal cases against those encroaching on the water body.

The citizen, Sivaramaraju Kalakurthy took to Twitter notifying KTR regarding the encroachment based on which, the Minister directed the principal secretary of the GHMC’s MAUD department, GHMC commissioner B Janardhan Reddy and mayor Bonthu Rammohan to initiate strict action against violators.
