The deceased, N Gurunadh fell from the 17th floor at around 11 am and succumbed to death immediately.

According to the reports, Gurunadh was climbing down the ropes, to complete painting the outer walls of lower floors, when he lost his balance and accidentally fell.

The police suspect that Gurunadh might not have worn the security belt properly while coming down using the rope.

A case has been registered under 304 a (negligent causing death) of IPC against the worker’s bosses - Devendhar and Srinivas for not taking proper precaution.
