The Kadapa bandh called by the YSRCP and the Left Parties demanding steel plant for Kadapa is peaceful and complete. All the buses in the district were confined to the eight depots in the district. The bus bays had no buses and the passengers from other districts ramined stranded in the bus stations.

Kadapa: The Kadapa bandh called by the YSRCP and the Left Parties demanding steel plant for Kadapa is peaceful and complete. All the buses in the district were confined to the eight depots in the district. The bus bays had no buses and the passengers from other districts ramined stranded in the bus stations.

The shops, business establishments and schools remained shut . Many government offices were also closed. The Left party activists, who came on to the roads quite early during the day, have ensured that even private vehicles remained in door.

Left leaders K Ramakrishna and BV Raghavulu took part in the protests. Bandh was also observed in Rajampet, Mydukur, Pulivendula, Jammalamadugu, Rayachoti and Proddatur constituencies.
