High Court issues show-cause notice to TS Speaker

The Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday granted partial respite to expelled Congress MLAs Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy and SA Sampath Kumar by issuing a show-cause notice to Assembly Speaker.

Further, the Telangana Assembly and Law Secretaries have been directed to attend the Court on August 17.

The High Court has expressed seriousness for withdrawing Gunmen protection from these MLAs and has directed the Assembly Registrar to submit the details pertaining to the salaries of these suspended MLAs.

In this regard, the Telangana DGP, Jogulamba SP, and Nalgonda SP have also been issued notices by the High Court.
