A Jet Airways passenger was deplaned and arrested by the police after he sent a message on snap chat of blowing up the plane.

The Mumbai bound Jet airways plane 9W 472 which is about to take off around 8.15 am was returned to parking bay at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose international airport after the passenger Yogvendanta Poddar was found sending threatening messages.

It is learned that the man's co-passenger noticed the chat which said "terrorist, destroy" and alerted the flight crew about the threat. The plane pilot reported the matter to the air-traffic controller and aborted the take-off.

Poddar was taken into custody by CISF police and sent for questioning.
