Hyderabad: TRS Government will provide irrigation water to one lakh acres in Sircilla said Minister KTR at 'Praja Aashirwada Sabha' in Thangallapally Mandal, on November 30, 2018.
The Minister stated that 95 percent of Mission Bhagiratha works are completed and water will soon reach every household.
He also mentioned that the Mid Manair works had been completed and water will reach Thangallapally Mandal once the water levels increase in the reservoir.
Addressing the gathering, he said, “Sircilla constituency is fast developing. Earlier there were only eight thousand tonnes capacity godowns in Sircilla but we constructed fifty thousand tonnes capacity godowns in various villages.”
“No government in the past had bothered about the plight of farmers and the farming sector but Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is taking all possible measures to rescue the farmers from distress,” the Minister said.
Talking about the progress in the farming sector, he said, “Agriculture has been the top priority of CM KCR. “In the entire country, KCR is the only leader who is giving investment support to farmers. He wants to do more for the agriculture sector in the state. If TRS comes to power, CM KCR as promised will increase the Rythu Bandhu investment amount from eight thousand per acre per year to ten thousand per acre per year."
Minister mentioned that after TRS gets re-elected, the money given under Asara pension will be increased from Rs 1000 to Rs 2016. For physically challenged people, the pension will be increased from Rs 1500 to Rs 3016.
Referring to PM Modi’s comments that there was an inadequate power supply in Telangana, Minister KT Rama Rao said that Telangana is the only state which provides 24/7 power to all sectors and Prime Minister should check facts before making any statements.
KTR said that the leaders like Amit Shah, PM Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, and Chandrababu who are campaigning in Telangana are mere political tourists who will come and go. However, KCR is the one who will stay and deliver.
