Amaravati: AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to visit New Delhi on 1st February. As Modi government is going to present the budget in the Parliament tomorrow, Naidus visiting the national capital has gained political attention.
The TDP leaders said that during this Delhi tour Naidu is going to focus on the EVMs issues. Regarding the EVMs performance, earlier few national parties have raised doubts that they can be tampered and haked.
In the Mage rally at Kolkata, many prominent leaders have raised a demand to stop the use of EVMs and reintroduce the paper ballot system in their place.
But the Election Commission of India has rejected these issues and clarified that no paper ballot system will be used in the election process.
In spite of ECI clarification on this issue, the national parties are not giving up their slogans against EVMs.
Naidu demands Election Commission to count VVpat slips along with the votes in the EVMS. In order to bring pressure on this issue a delegation of political party leaders are going to meet EC.
Naidu will be meeting national political leaders to discuss the EVMs issue as the elections are coming near.
