Amaravati: AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is a known devotee of Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala. He has demonstrated his deep devotion of the Lord on Thursday when he spoke at the launch of works for the construction of a Balaji temple at Amaravati. On the occasion, he launched the Bhukarshana and Beeja Vapanam rituals for the temple construction.

He said Lord Venkateswara was his family deity and that he was born at the feet of Lord Venkateswara. He said he got a rebirth thanks to the benediction of the Lord during the Alipiri incident of 2003. He said no one believed that he would survive the Alipiri attack But, due to the grace of the Lord, I was reborn.

He said that the Government has given 25 acres to the temple with the fervent belief that the Lord will shower his blessings on Amaravati.
