A man was arrested on Saturday for sending obscene pictures of a woman to her father and fiance through Whatsapp following which her engagement was cancelled and her father died of heart attack here in Old City.
According to the police, Tafhim (23), a relative of the woman professed his love to her who rejected it. Developing grudge on her, the accused decided to stop her engagement. He then morphed her pictures and sent them to the girl's father and her fiance after which her engagement was cancelled.
Depressed over the issue, the girl's father suffered a heart attack and died while undergoing treatment.
