Srinagar: In wake of the tense situation in Jammu and Kashmir post IAF'S air strike yesterday, and a fighter jet crash this morning, airports in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Chandigarh and Amritsar have been shut for civilian flights indefinitely. In Srinagar, an official of the Airports Authority of India said, "The civilian air traffic has been suspended temporarily in view of the emergency."
Some of the flights that were supposed to land in Jammu, Leh and Srinagar airports have been diverted to their origin stations. Pakistani troops flared up situations at the LoC in early hours of Wednesday. This has resulted in all the neighbouring areas being put on high alert.
