Entertaining Games For Your Friends And Family This New Year’s Eve:
· Make Your Own Pictionary: Rather than being old school and having a plain old format to the Pictionary cards, we suggest create your own theme and make cards that your friends could pick from and draw. Won’t it be fun to have a theme of party essentials, wardrobe articles or even kitchen utilities? Divide your friends into a team of two or three, depending on the amount of guests or simply have two teams and watch the fun, the game will have everyone engrossed and will be a complete hit.
· The Resolution Bucket: Make your guests write their New Year’s resolution on a card as they enter the venue, keep it as a surprise to why you are doing that. Once all your guests are settled and have written their responses and set them away in the bucket, mix them up and randomly distribute one each to all your guests. Now let them guess who could have written that resolution and why. It is a wonderful ice-breaker game and you have no idea how hilarious it could be.
·The Gem Game: Haven’t we all shared a childhood with sweets and treats that go a long way back? Well one of the most popular ones that is still favourite is Gems, coloured sugar coated chocolate treats. As for the game, set aside few whipped cream cans, four to five boxes of Gems and paper plates, this game can get messy but is great entertainment. Tie each guest’s hand at the back and tell them to plunge into the cream filled plate to hunt for the gems with their mouth. All you need to make sure is that every plate has the same number of gems hidden in them. It is one of the most entertaining games and well would have lots of moments to capture and laugh at once your guests freshen up.
· Dumb Charades With A Twist: It is a common game when people describe movie names while playing Dumb Charades, rather than doing the same revamp the game with your own twist to it. Make chits with names of Bollywood stars and divide your guests into two teams. Let each team pick out a name and mimic the star, be it a dance move or a style they have, just make sure there are no words exchanged.
Games are fun, no matter what the occasion may be, bring out the child in you this New Year’s Eve and make the best of it. Do not let your friends and family get bored even for a minute. These games are bound to fetch you lots of laughter, great memories and a really entertaining time as you welcome the New Year. Happy celebrating!!
