Summer season can be harsh on the skin if proper care and precautions are not taken. The sweltering heat and burning sun can play havoc if not taken care of. With tanning being a major concern, rashes and sunburns can also leave the skin red and itchy. Surprisingly the face that seemed so radiant and full of glow all through winters, suddenly turns all oily and lifeless in summers. Moisturizing skin is very important as our skin needs to be hydrated and maintain the adequate salt balance. A good way to cleanse the skin and body is to include fresh fruits in your diet. It is an excellent way to avoid acne and purify the body. Fruits can also be applied on the face to soothe the skin and remove a tan. So as you enjoy watermelon juice and cucumber lemonade, apply a little on the face too it will bring back the glow and radiance of your skin. In addition to this, one should drink ample water to hydrate the body.

Working women while rushing to office need to keep in mind a simple sunscreen lotion, face cream, face powder and a dash of blush along with a pastel lipstick will add to the stunning office look and not dramatize make up for a bright sunny morning. A sunscreen should ideally be applied 15-30 minutes before one goes out in the sun. Ideally, select a lipstick that is a long stay matte base that has a long stay since women cannot keep touching up on the lipstick every hour while working. A little Kohl for the eyes would add more expression to the look as well.

To transform the whole look in the evening, women can try out a simple water base foundation since in summers the skin tends to get too oily. After the base is set, a smoky eye effect with a little glitter to the corner of the eye, blush on the cheeks and a glossy lipstick will do the trick. Summers can be little trying for the skin to cope with, but if you keep a healthy diet, remove your makeup when you get back home and moisturize your skin right, you are bound to enjoy summer as much as you look forward to the winter season.
