In its endeavor to contribute in the nation building movement spearheaded by Yoga, Paras Buildtech partnered the “Yoga Run for Peace & Unity 2016”

New Delhi : In its endeavor to contribute in the nation building movement spearheaded by Yoga, Paras Buildtech partnered the “Yoga Run for Peace & Unity 2016”,hosted under the aegis of THE BRAHMKUMARIS, in association with Ministry of AYUSH on 18th June, 2016 at India Gate. The event was graced by Padamshree Olympian Sh. Milkha Singh, in conjunction with United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, along with many other eminent personalities and participants.

“Yoga is the only medium that synergies our inherent strengths, invokes our senses and blends an individual into an eternal resource of life force and positivity” quoted Mr. Ashutosh Sharma, Head HR of Paras Buildtech. All this was clearly visible at the India Gate lawns and on the pathways. Thousands eagerly joined the cause in the Yoga Run and sowed seeds of a healthy life devoid of stress, diseases and low life state.

Contributing in the Yoga Run is a symbol of the Paras value system that is the cornerstone in every endeavor the group envisages. Practicing Yoga is like recharging every cell inside us to give our best in every field. Be it work, home or sports. Every challenging situation can be handled positively if our “panchkoshas” our fully energized. Participating in Yoga Run is a pledge to oneself that we will triumph in our lives with the power of yoga…the power within all of us.

The event witnessed integrated participation fromthe city's youth, enthusiastic senior citizens and large volunteer base from NSS, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Bharat Scouts & Guides, Lions Club &Paras Buildtech. The event was well coordinated by Delhi Police and the participants experienced a hassle free registration to make the “Yoga Run for Peace & Unity 2016” a success.

“This initiative is a small step to inspire everyone around to open their souls to the mystic brilliance of yoga. The day we all are connected with yoga this world will be the true Paras, we all are aspiring” summed up Mr. Ashutosh Sharma, Head HR, Paras Buildtech.

Mr. Ashutosh Sharma commenced the distribution of T-shirts. The same was continued by volunteers from Paras Buildtech, who distributed 5000 T-shirts among the participants, targeting youngsters and the elderly.

The United Nations General Assembly declared June 21st as the International Day of Yoga in 2014. The practice of Yoga is an exceptional gift of India to the world. According to a recent survey, it is one of the top 5 exercises practiced in the world. It teaches us to discover the sense of oneness with self, world and nature. In the wake of recent events to disrupt peace, Yoga has acted as a catalyst in bringing together people from all the religion and communities.

The event witnessed participation from part from the city's youth, enthusiastic senior citizens. There were several stalls selling refreshments and energizers to boost up the energy of the participants. The event was well coordinated by Delhi Police and the volunteers; the participants experienced a hassle free registration and the marathon was a success.
