Progressive Trust For Matrimony with a mission to eradicate the dowry and caste discrimination from society

Hyderabad:Progressive Trust for Matrimony -A unique charitable service oriented trust for marriage alliances for all castes and religions had its third monthly meeting with Trustees and members which are scheduled on every third sunday of each month at Hotel Daspalla,Jubilee Hills,Hyd.

The meeting had various discussions along with two presentations .The first topic being Role of Alternative Medicines in present day context by Sri. Chidambara Rao and the second topic being Matrimony-Present and Past scenario by Dr. Thippanna .

The program was inaugurated by Sri. Emeem Ismail ,Dist. & Session Judge(Retd.) and former member A.P State Human Rights Commission. Speaking on this occasion Sri Ismail said there has been a lot of transformation happening in the people's life style with the adaption of modern technology.He emphasized that there is an immediate need to introspect and propagate the indian value system by strengthening the roots.He also stressed that the Pre-Marital counselling should be made mandatory by all the parents before they get their children married to avoid conflicts and separations in the marital life.

The founder trustees Sri. Tiprneni Venkateswar Rao and Dr. C.L.Venkat Rao said that the trust is working with a mission to eradicate the evil system of dowry and make a casteless society.The event was attended by eminent personalities from various walks of life. Dr. Chukka Kondaiah, former Director General NIMSME, Dr. SISA ,an eminent Sports Physotherapist and social thinker, Sri. Talluru Sundara Ramaiah, Dist Judge (Retd),Dr. M Venkata Reddy,former Director Drug Control Administration ,Govt .of A.P. were among the other members,trustees and special invitees who graced their presence in the meeting.
