Yes, for the last three years our favourite staple breakfast has its own day to celebrate. The delicious south Indian steamed rice cake is often eaten for breakfast with sambhar and coconut chutney and ginger chutney.
No matter what is your health condition Idli is super healthy. Its believed that World Idli Day is the brainchild of Eniyavan, who is regarded as idli king from Chennai. and officially declared March 30 as World Idli Day.
Making Idli is so simple that all you need is a basic batch of idli is urad dal, rice, flattened rice, and an idli steamer. Now you can even add up other elements to make it spicy as you like.
